Sandra's Cards makes handmade cards

CARDS and PAPERCRAFT
Card and most other prices are set according to the amount of resources used and time spent in production.
Custom card prices will be negotiated with you but will generally cost a little bit more than pre-made cards. For example, if a standard-sized pre-made card is $5, then a customised standard-sized card would cost between $5 – $7. More complex custom designs will generally cost between $6 - $25 (ranging from standard cards to box cards).
How to buy from the website
Online payments are currently supported. Please add items to your cart and follow the directions at the bottom of the Cart page if you wish to proceed with a Cash or Bank Transfer.
If you're interested in buying pre-made cards or having a special custom order created, and you'd like to know how much it might cost before you commit to buy, please fill out the Price Quote form on the Contact page.
To place a custom order, please complete the contact form, or contact me via social media or email. We will then work out a card design together, at no charge.
Physical work will commence after receiving confirmation that you are happy with the proposed final idea for your card. At this time, I will also advise you of the total cost of the card, in writing.
To ensure that time and resources are not wasted, all Custom Card Orders require full payment to be made when the card has reached 80% completion. At this point I will send you a payment notification message or invoice. You can cancel your order with no cost incurred before the final payment notification message/invoice is sent.
I will keep you up-to-date on the progress of your custom card, and work through any issues that arise during the process.
Once the Custom Card Order has been completed, I will let you know in writing. I will also send a photo of the final product to ensure you are happy with it.
If I have not received payment within two (2) days from the payment request, work on the item will be suspended (stopped) until the payment is received.
If a Payment is not received within 4 days from the payment request, I will cancel the custom order. If you wish to continue with the custom order, you will need to contact me directly.
Any additional postage costs for larger than standard cards will be determined at the time the item is completed and advised in writing. The extra postage amount will need to be paid via Paypal, Bank transfer or cash before the item is submitted into the Australia Post mail system.
If paying by Cash, please arrange pick up and payment time and location within 24hours of your purchase. Beyond 24hours, orders will be cancelled. Please adhere to current COVID-19 rules before making arrangements to pick up items. Cash may not be accepted and online payment preferred. Manual Paypal and bank transfer payments may be available.
If paying via Bank Transfer, please:
Follow the 3-step process on the Cart page (i.e. add items to your cart and when you've finished shopping, View your Cart). Once you send through your order details, noting that you'd like to pay via Bank transfer, we receive it via email.
We will contact you via email to arrange the bank transfer and provide any further details. We may also ask questions to clarify information provided or seek further information.
If the bank transfer option is not selected, it is expected that you will pay by cash and the rules for cash purchases apply.
If the bank transfer is not processed within 48hours of being provided with the account details, the order will be cancelled.
If you are picking up your order, the payment amount will be comprised of the card price only. If your order is being posted, the payment amount will be the card price plus the value of postage.
All stock prices do NOT include postage. Postage cost will be between $2.30 and $26 extra, on top of the price of each item.

Any cards or orders that are larger than normal may incur an extra postage cost, as they may need require more packaging to ensure safe transit. If this applies to you, I will contact you directly to advise the price before it is sent. Some other items may require a different rate of postage than those listed above. We will contact you to inform you if this is the case for your order.
I operate my hobby card-making shop online from Glenmore Park NSW Australia. No physical shop front. Purchases local to the Penrith NSW Australia area can be picked up from Glenmore Park. Cards purchased outside this area will be posted. Please allow two (2) weeks for postal delivery via the standard Australia Post mail service during the time of COVID-19. Due to this crisis, we are sorry but we cannot guarantee timely arrival of purchased items.
All cards will be sent to you so that you can add your own personalised message. Unfortunately I cannot send cards to customers outside Australia. Your item will be issued in a plastic sleeve for protection.
For all customisation efforts, I will work directly with you to design your card as closely as possible to your needs. It generally takes up to 2 weeks to be delivered to you, which allows for searching of materials, physically making the card, and postage time. During the COVID-19 pandemic, postage time might be longer than usual.
Returns and Refunds
I do not accept returns but I will be happy to refund the postage cost if your card is damaged in the mail with Australia Post. For any other claims, please send me photographic evidence and we will work together to resolve any issues.
The products listed as "gift sets" have been handmade for special occasions. They include a box, greeting card and jewellery that all match and are listed as a set (each set cannot be split). Jewellery has been handmade, using a variety of craft materials, thus care should be taken to ensure that those receiving these gift sets do not have allergies to any of the ingredients. Sandra's Cards hopes that customers will take care to check for allergies and correct sizing of all jewellery items BEFORE purchasing a gift set. Refunds will be given on intact undamaged returns (at the buyer's postage expense) or faulty items, but not for change of mind. Craft materials include but are not limited to resin, ceramics, alloy metal, faceted glass, clay, plastics, elastic, organza, patterned papers, cardstock, ribbon, and craft embellishments. Cards and boxes should not be exposed to rain or moisture-rich environments. This will cause the items to shrink, warp, tear and break down. If an item is damaged during postage, a photo of the result is required before any refund can be offered - if the item was custom-made to order, only the cost of postage will be refunded. Due to the limited availability of some papers and craft items, Sandra's Cards may not be able to make a replacement gift set if items are damaged before customer receipt. Jewellery should be treated with care and not dropped, thrown, stepped on or mistreated. Such mistreatment may cause the item to break. We want to avoid any injury from item breakage, so we advise caution. Attempts to pull on our dislodge beads from their placement or settings may cause the item to break. Gift Sets have been priced carefully - any customised orders will be priced according to Sandra's Cards' calculations, fairly, and according to materials used. For price quote purposes, most gift sets will generally cost between $30 and $50 (AU). Custom orders will follow the general Custom Order process. Payments will be via cash, Paypal or Bank Transfer. Pick up of item(s) will incur no fee. Postage will incur a fee as per Australia Post prices (current at August 2021). Postage including a satchel will be approx $12; with no satchel approx $9. The products listed as jewellery on this site have all been handmade by Sandra's Cards. They are priced according to the components used in their creation. Components include beads, wire and other jewellery items made from (but not limited to) resin, alloy, faceted crystal, polymer clay, and plastic. Unless otherwise noted on the product itself, jewellery pieces do not use real gold, silver, stainless steel or other precious metal or stone (including gemstones and Swarovski crystals). This is why the jewellery is not very expensive. They are not hypoallergenic unless specifically stated, so all buyers must check if they or any giftees are allergic to the components of the jewellery before they commit to buy. The stringing of beads has been done by hand, which may increase the price of the jewellery piece to cover the manual labour cost involved. As the jewellery items are handmade, some flaws will be seen in twisted wire, and this will not be considered damaged goods.
Each jewellery item generally has size of beads, total width and length of piece as well as bracelet and chain lengths. It no measurements are given, please contact Sandra's Cards and ask before purchasing. We ask that you carefully check sizes of bracelets and necklaces before purchase. Items that are small in size cannot be resized to a larger size. Items that are a large size can sometimes be resized to lower sizes, but you will need to check with Sandra's Cards directly before purchase to see if it can be done for the item that you want.

Jewellery care instructions
Jewellery should not be exposed to rain or moisture-rich environments as this may cause discolouration of the jewellery components. Jewellery should be treated with care and not dropped, thrown, stepped on or mistreated. Such mistreatment may cause the item to break. We want to avoid any injury from item breakage, so we advise caution. Attempts to pull on or dislodge beads from their placements or settings may cause the item to break. Jewellery should be stored in a cool, dry place. Do not place heavy items on top of jewellery pieces, as this may warp the wire and disfigure the jewellery.
